All works presented in this portfolio were created entirely by hand — without the use of AI at any stage.

This website was created as part of a unified brand family connecting all studio divisions. Each site follows a shared design language — consistent in structure, tone, and flow — while being adapted to the audience and focus of its respective division.

The design system emphasizes continuity across the ecosystem so visitors can navigate between studios without friction, while still allowing each brand to express its own personality through tailored layouts, imagery, and typographic nuance.

Behind the scenes, each site operates on a shared backend infrastructure developed in-house. This foundation allows for centralized updates, synchronized standards, and unified refinements across the network. The goal is to minimize overhead in technical maintenance so greater time and attention can be devoted to producing work rather than managing websites.

Midnight Citylights functions as an aesthetic and storytelling shell rather than a separate corporate entity. All intellectual property, creative direction, and production originate under Alex Stevovich, with this studio serving as the dedicated space for the entertainment and digital arts branch of that larger body of work.

Each studio operates as a service brand — an interface for a focused set of disciplines such as software, visual design, or game development. These divisions allow visitors to explore specific domains of work in a context that feels tailored and precise, while all projects and final assets remain canonically unified under the Alex Stevovich brand.

The result is a modular structure that balances clarity with cohesion: each site showcases its own materials and visual language, yet ultimately redirects to the central archive, ensuring that the entire creative practice remains connected as one evolving whole.

This website runs on a custom full-stack framework built by Alex Stevovich, featuring a proprietary backend, frontend, and a collection of ACID-compliant databases. The system represents the same mark of quality and technical precision that defines Stevovich’s broader web architecture projects.

The stack currently experiments with server-side rendering of Lydio components without disk reads, enabling on-demand content generation that directly integrates authoring with serving. CDN and IO are effectively bypassed for live HTML render function calls.

A shared infrastructure handling authentication, scalability, rich backend UI, and unified middleware for reuse across all studio divisions.

DeepFrame

A proprietary HTML generation framework serving as a lightweight, hand-optimized alternative to React and similar component-based systems. It allows for direct authoring, rendering, and delivery of structured content.

Lydio

A proprietary component-based blog and document generator designed for semantic writing and seamless feature integration.
